Join Together to Accomplish What No Other Single Person Can
The annual United Way Day of Caring - Rochester's single largest volunteer event is taking place on Thursday, May 13, 2010. 
Each year, thousands of people from take a day off from work or school to lend their time, talents, and energy to help local not-for-profit service providers with all kinds of projects. Besides helping these organizations, and ultimately those who they serve, you will also get to see - first hand - how your United Way donations are put to good use.
Last year, more than 9,000 volunteers worked on 500 projects in and around Rochester. We hope you'll sign up and participate in this incredible event this year.
Key Dates:
- Agency-project registration deadline: March 19, 2010
- Company/workplace team registration deadline: March 29, 2010
- School/Youth team registration deadline: April 30, 2010
- Notification of project and team assignments: April 12-16, 2010
