Day Of Caring

Day Of Caring

Join us for the annual United Way Day of Caring -  Rochester's single largest volunteer effort - on Thursday, May 8, 2008.

Each year, thousands of people from take a day off of from work or school to lend their time, talents, and energy to help local not-for-profit service providers with all kinds of projects. Besides helping these organizations, and ultimately those who they serve, you will also get to see -  first hand - how your United Way donations are put to good use.

This year, as a way of caring for those who care, the Clarion Riverside has generously offered to treat our volunteers to lunch as a way of saying "thank you" for your commitment to making a difference in our community. Click here to learn more about the luncheon.

Last year, more than 11,000 volunteers worked on more than 500 projects in and around Rochester (

We hope you'll sign up and part of this incredible event this year.
